The house as a familiar and unstable image
Domestic Structures began with the observation of houses, façades and inhabited spaces. Across the series, architecture gradually moves away from direct representation and becomes a container for atmosphere, memory and emotional tension.
Repeated walls, windows, roofs and artificial lights connect the paintings. Each work presents a different variation of the same subject, moving between recognisable buildings, fragmented interiors and increasingly abstract constructions.

From observation to reconstruction
The sequence begins with spaces that remain connected to direct observation. As the series develops, proportions shift, façades become flatter and the distinction between exterior and interior begins to dissolve.
The larger pink painting expands this process into a fragmented structure, while the final red landscape reduces the house to a dark silhouette. Seen together, the works describe a gradual movement from physical architecture towards a more subjective image.
Architecture becomes emotional space
The five paintings are connected not by a single location, but by the repetition and transformation of domestic forms. The house becomes both a recognisable object and an unstable structure shaped by colour, light and memory.
Presented as a group, the works allow each variation to reinforce the others, creating a visual narrative that would not emerge from any individual painting alone.
